She began fund raising in 1986 together with her late husband Les, one of our best loved comedians. Following his sudden and unexpected death, Tracy has carried on with her charity work, receiving much support from Les's fans, the media, and the public generally.

These days, Tracy is often assisted in her fundraising efforts by their daughter, Charlotte, who is now thirteen. Tracy organised the memorial service for Les at Westminster Abbey, and the "Les Dawson Celebrity Golf Tournament".

Locally, Tracy promotes and supports many Fylde charities, and was instrumental in fundraising for the MRI Scanner Appeal at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
